The Bandstand is track No. 1 from the 9th studio album by Norwegian band, a-ha.
a-ha are: Morten Harket (Lead Vocals), Magne Furuholmen (Keyboards, Piano and Guitar) and Paul Waaktaar-Savoy (Guitar).
The new album was released in the UK on 27th July 2009 and is entitled “Foot of the Mountain”. The first single from the album is also called Foot of the Mountain. The single was released in digital download format only. It’s currently in the Top 100 on the UK singles chart and was released in the UK on 20th July 2009.
You can buy a digital download of the album from the Official website at: a-ha.com online shop, iTunes etc or a physical release can be purchased from play.com, hmv.com, amazon.co.uk and many high street record stores.
On 2nd August 2009, the album was at No. 5 on the UK album chart. This is the first time the band’s had a UK Top 10 album since “Stay On These Roads” in 1988!

Have to agree it’s great to find a great blogs site dedicated to the No1 Norwegian trio A-Ha. I’ve been a massive fan since I first heard Take On Me and saw that amazing video, as a kid I was hooked and still am.
